Well here we go again, Nicki Minaj is involved in yet another battle and this time it's with former American Idol judge Steven Tyler. For some unknown reason Steven Tyler found it necessary to critique Nicki's judging skills, mind you that the show hasn't even aired yet.
Here's how the drama unfolded...
The 64-year-old Aerosmith frontman and ex-Idol judge did an interview with
MTV recently criticizes all the new judges. And then he specifically named Nicki Minaj:
'You just have to give your opinion. It wasn't hard for
me, but I would imagine it's hard for some people, and they need a
manager to say 'Shut the f***up, and just give them your opinion.
'If it was Bob Dylan, Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the
cornfield! Whereas, if it was Bob Dylan with us, we would have brought
the best of him out, as we did with Phillip Phillips. Just saying.'
After hearing Ms. Minaj took twitter to air out her feelings:
'Steven Tyler said I would have sent Bob Dylan to a cornfield???
Steven, you haven’t seen me judge one single solitary contestant yet!'
'I understand you really wanted to keep your job but take that up with
the producers. I haven’t done anything to you. That’s a racist comment.'
'You assume that I wouldn’t have liked Bob Dylan??? why? black? rapper? what? go f*** yourself and worry about yourself babe.'
Can't say I agree with Nicki calling Steven racist but I do think he should have kept his negative comments to himself. A new season of "American Idol" debuts Jan. 16.
